As a small child he lived in Alabama. When he was 17 years old he moved to Oregon where he has resided for the last 72 years.
He served his country in the US Army during World War II.
Jesse married Blanche Settlemier in Corbett, Oregon. She died in 1980. Jesse was a supervisor at Wagner Mining Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Survivors include his two sons, Roger White of Corbett, Oregon and Jerry White who lives in Glendale, Arizona. Jesse is also survived by his 3 grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by his son Tom White.
No public services will be held. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
