Jim E. Lundervold

Jim E. Lundervold, 71 of Gresham OR, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. He was born on April 5, 1939 in Barronett, Wisconsin to Edwin and Helen (Wuethrich) Lundervold. He graduated from Gresham High School in 1957 and served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1966. He received his Bachelors in Science from Portland State University in 1969. Jim married Deborah Marie Brown on November 20, 1971 in Gresham, Oregon. He is a member of First Baptist Church, past member of Trinity Lutheran Church and past president of S.E.A.O (1987-1988) and E.C.C.O. (1988-1989). Jim loved driving his tractor and spending time at his beach house.

He is survived by his wife Debby of Gresham OR; sons Chad Lundervold of Seattle WA, Mark Lundervold of Oregon City OR, Mike Lundervold of Vancouver WA, Tony Lundervold of Mulino OR, Scott Lundervold of Beavercreek OR, Gary Lundervold of Portland OR and Dean Wells of Converse LA; daughter Donna Pearson of Beaverton OR; brothers Ben Lundervold of Sandy OR, Larry Lundervold of Alameda CA and Dan Lundervold of Boring; sister Pat Cota of Ridgefield WA; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 5:00pm at the First Baptist Church, 224 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
