Thank you Mama for loving my family and our boys as one of your own. You spoiled the heck out of these kids and they loved every minute of it! You’ve provided the most beautiful examples of what true family means. Your thoughtfulness and love will always be remembered. I’m thankful that we got to share you. May you Rest In Peace. My mom Joanne was truly my hero in so many ways. She loved unconditionally all the time. She raised so many children that were not her own and treated them all as her own. Most everyone called her mama. Never once in my life did I doubt the love she felt for me. Growing up we knew what she expected from us and we just did it! She worked very hard for us.

Her life changed so much when she married my step dad. It was such a great feeling to see her truly happy. She got to travel and be with her kids and grandkids , cook big meals and bake cookies, lots of cookies! Everyone that tasted her cookies or desserts always wanted more!
I have always said that if I turn out half as wonderful and giving as my mom I will be thankful! She led by example. I am so thankful for every memory we made. In the last few years we got to escape to the beach house and just do nothing and we loved it. We went to movies , had family dinners and of course watched our favorite shows. The void in my life is huge and is going to continue to be huge. I don’t know how I’m going to go on , but I know I will! She would be super angry if I didn’t. She didn’t raise me to give up. I am going to get up every day and think about all the memories I have. How very blessed my life was because of her. I am so thankful for every moment, I’m thankful she helped raise my kids and helped me to be the best mom I could. I see so much of her in my kids and myself and I’m so honored. I love you so much mom- So much!
