John Nelson Howlett, 62 of Portland OR, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born on October 27, 1948 in Portland, Oregon to Raymond and Gladys (Dahl) Howlett. He attended James John Grade School in Portland and graduated from Wrangell High School in Wrangell, Alaska in 1966.
John is survived by his sisters Sandra Hoover of Damascus, Oregon and Pamela Martin of Anchorage, Alaska.
No formal services will be held at his request. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
