

John Leighton Tuttle, 50 of Gresham OR, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. He was born on August 12, 1966 in Portland, Oregon to David and Ardith (Shirley) Tuttle. He graduated from Centennial High School. John was a co-owner and operator with Jim Britton of the Game Swapper in NE Portland and has worked for the last eleven years at Craft Warehouse in Gresham. John was an avid Blazer fan and enjoyed car racing and Ford Mustangs.
John is survived by his mother Ardith Jill Shirley of Gresham OR; sister April Fields and husband Steva Fields of Vancouver WA; niece Summer Fields of Vancouver WA; uncles Tad Shirley of LaPine OR, Steven Shirley of Bend OR and Robert Shirley of Eugene OR and aunts Jackie Shirley of Fullerton CA and Laurie Williams of Los Angeles CA. John was preceded in death by his grandparents Leighton “Keith” and Jewel F. Shirley, grandmother Margaret Tuttle Kassabaum and uncle Jeffry Mark Shirley.
A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 in the Hood River room at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. Private interment at Douglass Pioneer Cemetery in Troutdale, Oregon.
