Beloved son, brother, dad and grandson

Joshua Dean Cermack was born March 9th 1996 the best friend you could ever have. You called him, he was there (as long as he wasn't asleep) he struggled and made mistakes and even went through some rough times but he never let it harden his heart. He loved his family blood or bond with fierce loyalty and understanding. Worked hard every day to make his dream of finding the balance of work and family often torn between wanting to be with his 2 boys, whom he loved with every fiber of his being and working. He may never know how many lives he saved with his pick-up truck and a conversation. A protector, loyal son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He listened and loved without judgment. Senselessly taken by the ignorance of children on December 31, 2019.

Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Please re-visit his site for updates.

I met josh from work and we immediately became close friends. Over the years we grew closer and considered each other family. He knew my family well and was always welcome into our homes, to the point where he didn’t even need to knock whenever he came over. It’s hard to not hear him walk in anymore. He always had respect for everyone he met until he was given a reason not to. He was the kindest person I had ever met and his sons meant everything to him. Every time he would go visit them he’d send me pictures of his sons telling me how excited he was to be watching them grow the way they are. He made such an impact in so many people’s lives it’s great to see how everyone loved him so much. We are all going to miss him.
