Karon Long, age 59, of Gresham, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023. She was born in High Wycombe, UK on October 2nd, 1964 to Ron Newell and Audria Cogar. She graduated from Loughborough University in Loughborough, UK and received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Social Psychology with honors.
Karon spent many years as a caregiver of her two children, but has since worked as a Marketing Director for multiple firms. She enjoyed fashion, was extremely creative, and loved watching movies with her family.
Karon is survived by her partner, Eric DeJesus of Gresham, Oregon; her children, Darcey Long of Los Angeles, California and Nathan Long of Dallas, Texas; and her siblings, Kim Splawn and Kerry Sanderson.
A celebration of life will be held in High Wycombe, UK in Spring 2024, with more details to become available in the near future.
