Kathleen "Kathy" Myrtle Parker

Our dearest mother, Kathleen Parker died peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on August 20, 2024 at the age of 78.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there for us offering support, wisdom and most importantly love.

Kathy was born on July 26, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Chester and Lillian Linton. She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1964. After high school she met the love of her life, Daniel Parker and the two married on May 15, 1966 in Gresham, Oregon. They built a beautiful life together raising an amazing family and were married for almost 47 years. Once retired they moved from Gresham to LaPine, Oregon. While living in LaPine, Kathy enjoyed working during the warmer months at Quail Run Golf Course.

Kathy was preceded in death by Daniel in 2013.

Kathy is survived by her children, son, Tony Parker of Welches, Oregon, daughter, Michelle King (Ken) of Gresham, Oregon, son, Chet Parker (Heather) of Otis, Oregon, and daughter, Danelle Spencer (Jay) of Battle Ground, Washington; grandchildren, Megan Parker, Austin Parker, John King, Katie King, William Parker, Michael Parker, Lilly Parker, Kameron Spencer, Daniel Spencer, Jordan Kerle and Rylie Spencer; great-grandchildren, Henry, Spencer, Layla, Hudson, Ainsleigh, Freya, Meera, Salen, Baby Boy Clay Parker and Kyli; niece, Sandy Willocks; nephew Josh Linton, and many great nieces and nephews that she loved endlessly.

Kathy was loved by everyone who met her and "Mom" to so many.
