Lewis Jay Farrington

Lewis Jay Farrington, Age 62 passed away Sunday May the 25th, 2025 in his home surrounded by the love and support of his friends and family.

Jay was born in Saint Helens Oregon the day after his mother’s 21st birthday. Jay got married at FT Steward Georgia. He was married to Glenna Farrington on June 3rd of 1989 in blue jeans, having a marriage that lasted 36 years. He worked with the Multnomah County Sheriff's office his whole career. He was an US Army vet where he was a military police officer. He retired from the county and lived a wonderful retirement life. Jay loved to go fishing, camping, snowboarding, cooking, and music. He showed his love through food and was a proud family man.

Jay was the son of Clyde Farrington and Donna Shirts. Jay and his wife Glenna have two children Preston Jay Farrington and Danielle Nicole Farrington (Ludington); a granddaughter Zelda Annabelle Farrington and a grandson on the way at the time of his death. His wonderful sister Stacy Cassasanta always kept Jay on his toes.

Jay was A wonderful husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. He will always be in our hearts and never will be forgotten. Love you always, your family and friends

Military Honors & committal services will be held at the Willamette National Cemetery on Monday, July 14th at 11:30am.
