

Louis was born on April 25, 1919 in Portland, Oregon and was the son of Tomaso and Rose (Gaudio) Patitucci. He was the youngest of 13 children and the first generation of his family born in America.
Louis attended school in Portland and later enlisted in the National Guard. During WWII he served with the Army. He was honorably discharged in 1945 at the rank of Private.
On August 10, 1946, he married Murylene Williamson in Portland and they had 2 children. Louis worked for Centennial Flour Mill for 25 years retiring in 1981. He moved to Gresham 2011.
Louis was a family man who adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and working in his yard. He also enjoyed old silent movies, jazz and blues music and rooting for the New York Yankees and for Notre Dame.
He is survived by his wife, Murylene of Gresham and daughter, Suzanne (husband, Jim) Murphy of Troutdale along with 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas in 1962 along with his brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am at Bateman Carroll. A funeral will be on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Bateman Carroll with a committal service at Lincoln Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in memory of Louis to Providence Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
