Lyle Leonard Anderson

A graveside service for Lyle will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, 7800 Van Belle Rd, Sunnyside, Washington 98944.

Lyle Leonard Anderson passed away on December 7, 2022 in Portland, OR. He was born April 28, 1934 in Blaisdell, ND to Janet and Leonard Anderson.

Lyle grew up on a farm and continued dry land farming growing grains and raising cattle for a living in the Blaisdell, ND area. He and his wife Darlene moved their family to Sunnyside, WA in 1969. He continued farming although on a much smaller scale, learning to use irrigation, growing alfalfa and continuing to raise cattle. He quit farming in 1996 and continued to live in the same home until moving to Gresham, OR in 2016.

Lyle is survived by sister Marge & husband Dale Culver of Whidbey Island, WA, sons Murray & wife Christina of Gresham, OR, Lonny & wife Keri of Manhattan, MT, 3 grandchildren Brandon Anderson, Ron Campbell, and Ian Campbell, along with many nieces and nephews.

Lyle was a strong and gracious man and his heart always had love for his family. He will be truly missed.
