Lyle William Patton

Lyle graduated from Gresham High School. He served his country in the US Army during WWII.

Lyle married Aurora (Lola) Martingano on April 19, 1953 in Trieste, Italy.

On April 20, 1992 he married Clara Stalio in Gresham, Oregon.

Lyle was a Boy Scout Leader of Troup 235. He participated in the Mazama Climbing Organization. He was an outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hiking, Mountain Climbing, and camping. He liked to do woodworking projects. Lyle was a member of the VFW. He was a member of the Gresham United Methodist Church.

Lyle is survived by his wife Clara (Stalio) Patton, son, Kenneth Leslie Patton, three siblings, Claude E. Patton, Marion M. Hughes, and Marjorie L. Johnson, two grandchildren, Brett Simon Patton and Rob (Joan) Patton, and his four great grandchildren, Savanna, Shelby, Jagger and Kain.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Gresham United Methodist Church located at 620 NW 8th St. in Gresham, Oregon. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
