Margaret Cheatham

Omaha, Nebraska to William and Margaret Anna (Davenport) Walker.

Margaret married Kenneth Cheatham on December 24, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri. Kenneth died in 1986. Margaret was a long time Gresham resident. She was a soldier in the Salvation Army.

Hobbies included reading, genealogy, cub scout volunteer, and devoted time to the Salvation Army Church and the VFW in Gresham. She was devoted to her family.

Survivors include her three sons, John Cheatham, of Clackamas, OR., Jerry Cheatham, Forest Grove, OR., and Jeff Cheatham, of Gresham, OR., daughter, Judi Irving, of Gresham, OR., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and son Jim.

A memorial service will be at the Salvation Army Gresham Corps located at the corner of SE 194th and SE Stark St. in Gresham, Oregon on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
