

Marvin graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California (near Napa) with his degree in Theology in 1953.
Marvin served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Marvin met and fell in love with Eva Nelson. They were married on September 1, 1946 in Mt. View, California.
Marvin worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hawaii where he was Head of the Education and Youth Departments and the Temperance War Commission and built the youth camp on Oahu.
Marvin was a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor at the following churches: Rio Linda Academy, Mt. Shasta, CA., Fort Bragg, CA., Roseville, CA., Hawaii, Turlock, CA., Camino, CA., Mt. Tabor, and the Village Retirement Center in Gresham, Oregon.
Marvin enjoyed golf and tennis.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at The Village Retirement Center located at 4501 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon. Public viewing will be Tuesday-Thursday, August 27-29th from 10 am – 5 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon.
Graveside service with military honors will be on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
Pastor Seibel is survived by his loving wife Eva, of Gladstone, OR., daughter, Wendy Williams, Happy Valley, OR., son, Doug Seibel, Damascus, OR., daughter, Marlene Lovenguth, Gold Beach, OR., six grandchildren: Nate, Jon, Taralea, Josh, Madelyn and Tyler, and three great-grandchildren.
