

Michael Peter Nofield, also known as “Pugsley,” was born on October 21, 1955, in Vancouver, Canada to Alfred Peter Nofield and P. Patricia Nofield. He was the second of six siblings and the oldest brother in his family.
Michael was known for being traditional and family-oriented. He passed away on October 25, 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old.
Michael was especially passionate about his two daughters, Shelby Wirtanen and Kinsey Crammond.
Outside of his family, Michael enjoyed many hobbies. He loved camping, often seeking peace and quiet outdoors. He was a big NASCAR fan and followed racing closely. He also had a love for music and anything with a motor, showing his interest in speed and mechanics. Spending time with friends was important to him too, and he valued the good times and shared laughter and experiences they had together.
Besides his daughters, Michael is survived by his sister Michelle (Fraser), brothers Paul (Susie), Stephan (Ebet), Patrick (Lisa), and Richard. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, along with nephews and nieces. His best friend, Meei Marshall, was also a big part of his life, offering companionship and support.
There will be a private family gathering during the holidays to remember him and a celebration of his life is planned for the spring.
