Myrtle Ruth Hill

Myrtle Hill was born on February 4th, 1934, in Middlesborough, Kentucky, to Leslie and Florence Wilson. She married Millus Hill in 1960, and they settled in Estacada, Oregon in 1976, with their children: Bobby Thornhill, Jack Thornhill, Kelly Hill, Rocky Hill, Teressa Hill, and Elessa Hill. Millus worked construction and security until his death in 1998. Myrtle was a housewife and homemaker, and a CAN. She enjoyed embroidery and word find books. She loved and adored her children, grand kids, and great grand kids. She has thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Bobby Thornhill of Estacada, Rocky Hill of Estacada, Jack Thornhill of Portland, Elessa Winner of Portland, and Teressa Rose of Boring; siblings, Cliff Wilson of San Andreas, California and Joyce Washburn of Burbank, Washington. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Leslie and Florence Wilson; her husband, Millus Hill; sister, Barbara (Bobbi); brother, Walt Wilson; and daughter, Kelly Hill-Green.

Viewing will take place on Sunday, August 28th, from 10 am to 5 pm, and Monday, August 29th, from 10 am to 11 am. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, August 29th, at 11:00 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, located at 520 W Powell Boulevard in Gresham. A Committal Service will take place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon, on August 29th at 12:30 pm.
