

Norman was born on September 29, 1940 to Stanley Mah and Dorothy (Chin) Mah in Portland, OR.
After graduating High School, Norman joined the Army, and when he retired from the Army, he joined the Navy. Norman had a total of 11 years of service between the two branches, was a proud Culinary Specialist for both, and received the National Defense Service Medal.
The light of Norman’s life were his daughters, Rachel, Marti, and Dorothy, with whom he loved spending time with. He was a wonderful and devoted father who loved camping, fishing, and being outdoors. Humble thoughtfulness radiated from Norman, and he was always there to help others when they needed it.
Norman will always be remembered by his dedication, kindness, giving heart, and bold spirit. He is survived by his children, Rachel Mah, Marti Bailey, and Dorothy Mah, Autumn Worsham and Michael Orris, Grandchildren, Norman Stanley Mah II, Amanda Kadell, Thomas Thames, Tyler Parker, Michael Parker, Aubrey Mah, Brandon Rodacker, Daniel Worsham, Crystal Worsham, and Steven Orris as well as 14 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Dorothy Mah, and grandson Raymond Worsham.
Military Honors for Norman will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 Mt Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, OR 97086.
