Oliver Ollie E Batdorf

Ollie has long struggled with congestive heart failure and its effects. After retiring from the City of Portland as a storekeeper in 1999, we found the newly-built cottages and set about creating a retirement along with the ducks and geese and our cats and our Jeep Wrangler.

Ollie was a graduate of Lewis & Clark College and became a CPA in 1960. He and his wife Lynda raised two daughters, Julie Paulson of Hood River and Karen Cardwell of Spokane. There are 3 grandchildren, Nicole, Brian & Alex and 2 great-grandchildren, Jameson and Alexia.

In 1982 Ollie married Alison MacKnight. We have been especially close with his brother and wife, Ron and Sharon Batdorf, and their special family, Eric and Lisa in Oregon City.

A Celebration of Ollie’s Life will be on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon. Private Interment will be at Forest Lawn cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
