

Patrick Henry Linton passed away on January 16, 2016, in Gresham, Oregon. Patrick was born on February 15, 1952, in Portland, Oregon, to his parents: Chester and Lillian (Ludwig) Linton. He attended Reynolds High School, and he later attended Portland Community College, from which he graduated with a certificate in auto body repair. He also served in the United States Navy, from which he was honorably discharged.
Patrick was a family man above all. He treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and sisters. He had a wonderful sense of humor, he was easy going, and although he experienced a great deal of pain in his final years, he never once complained. He was a simple man, who lived life to the fullest and was appreciative of what he had. He loved to take things apart and rebuild them. He also enjoyed fishing.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James; and his beloved niece, Sally Gilbertson. He is survived by his daughter, Nichole Linton; and his sons, James (Amber) Linton and Joshua (Jennifer) Linton; his longtime companion, Barbara Linton; and his beloved dog, Lulu. He is also survived by his sisters, Beverly Shaffer, Linda Wilson, and Kathy Parker; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Colin, Lily, Ashton, Madison, Hannah, Matthew, and Haley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
