

and Sylvania, Ohio she moved to Oregon in 2009 to be closer to family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen M. and Kate (nee Hall) Stacey; husband,
Robert Girkins (February 1, 2001); and three sisters, Marguerite Herman, Gertrude Boycheff,
and Kathryn Stamp.
Pat is survived by four daughters Jane (Scott) Baker, Barb (Rick) Hopper, Sandy (Tom) Dibble
and Kathy (David) DelToro plus eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Strongly dedicated to volunteerism, Pat was actively involved with Pilgrim United Church of
Christ, Read for Literacy, Quest Garden Club, Toledo Garden Club Forum, and North Cape Yacht
Club. She loved to sing, play the piano, and always dreamed of the family gathered around her
piano singing Christmas carols. Her cherished memories focused on family and the time they
were able to spend together.
Pat earned a Master’s Degree from The University of Toledo and worked as a science teacher
and library media specialist in the Toledo and Eastwood school systems.
