Becky was born in Sidney, Montana on 2-2-1953. She spent most of her childhood in Minot, North Dakota and moved to Oregon in 1966. A born caretaker, Becky graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She married the love of her life, Larry Brooks, in 1973.
Becky always had a soft spot in her heart for cats, and always had cats and took in strays. She also loved gardening and taking care of her flowers.
Becky is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, John and Helen Chambers; son, Brian; and sister, Cynthia Rakos.
Her surviving family: husband, Larry; son, David, daughter-in-law, Marianne; brothers, Bob and Kent Chambers; sister, Kathy Chambers; and four Grandchildren, all miss her deeply.
A memorial service for Becky will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1440 SE 182nd Ave, Portland, Oregon 97233.
