Rebecca Ann Crain (Becky), a resident of Gresham, Oregon, passed on in the early morning hours of January 15, 2011 at her Gresham Home with her husband of 26 years by her side. She was 47 years of age.
Becky was born on May 26, 1963 in Glendale, California and was the daughter of Dr. Oliver and Dorothy (Lindborg) Titrud. She graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1980 with honors and completed her Associate’s Degree at Clackamas Community College in 1982.
On November 24, 1984 she married Greggory Crain at the Milwaukie First Baptist Church in Milwaukie, Oregon. They resided in Portland for while and moved to Gresham in 1995. Becky was dedicated and devoted to whatever job she embarked on while working in the health insurance business for nearly 25 years. The last 4 years of her career were spent at Care Oregon where she worked as a Claims Administrator and Supervisor. She continued to work for them until April of 2010.
Becky was always full of life and never took a day for granted. Her hobbies included traveling with family and friends, Bunco and taking walks. Her true joy in life was doing crafts with her grandson Quinton and creating family memories through Scrapbooking and Card Making. Her greatest love, however, was her family. She was the youngest of eight children and stayed close with her siblings and simply cherished the time spent with her husband, daughter and grandson. She was truly a remarkable Wife, Mother, Grammy, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She will be infinitely missed.
She is survived by her husband, Greg of Gresham Oregon, daughter Chandra Crain and grandson Quinton Crain of North Carolina, brothers, Kermit Titrud of Minnesota, Doug Titrud of Washington, Timothy Titrud of Oregon and Howard Titrud of California and sisters, Cheryl Johnston of Wisconsin, Bethine Vincent of Oregon and Debbie Clark of Iowa.
An Internment Service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland, Oregon in the weeks to come. Contributions may be made in memory of Rebecca to the American Cancer Society. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
