

Rebecca “Becca” Lynn Lenzer, a resident of Gresham, Oregon passed away on December 22, 2010 in Gresham. She was 27years of age.
Becca was born on November 29, 1983 in Portland, Oregon and was the daughter of Steven and Teresa (Scruggs) Lenzer. She was raised in Corbett and graduated from Corbett High School in 2002. After high school, she moved Gresham and worked in warehousing and shipping at various locations throughout the Portland Area.
Becca was very outgoing and personable. She had the most beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She loved animals, among them, her cats that she saved, raised and found homes for as well as her 4-H cattle. She enjoyed collecting dolphin figurines, spending time in the outdoors and ‘facebooking’ with her friends. She was a kind spirit, hard worker and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was great daughter and a wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Becca is survived by her parents; Steven and Ronda Lenzer of Corbett, sisters, Jamie Kerslake of Cottonwood, Idaho and Jennifer Kerslake of Corbett and grandparents; Maryann Perreira of Kelso, Washington, Clara Lenzer of Oregon City ,John and Kathy Gantenbein of Alfalfa, Oregon, and John and Mitzie Kerslake of Corbett along with her two beloved nephews, Ethan and Chase Vonbarge and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Her mother, Teresa, grandfather, Fritz Lenzer and grandmother, Frances Scruggs all preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held for Becca at St. Charles Catholic Church in Portland on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made in memory of Becca to the Oregon Humane Society. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
