I went to high school & graduated with Renee... The things I remember the most are her beautiful smile, her long full hair, and the fact that she accepted me & got to know me without any preconceived ideas. Renee was sweet, joking, funny, kind, so full of life, and always greeted everyone with a bright & easy smile. She never seemed to have anything bad to say about another, probably because she, better than others, knew none of us were perfect.
We reconnected on FB and chatted about my baby girl & her lil' man (Jacob you are her world & she loves you soooooo much!). She, like so many others, couldn't believe that I had a son who was starting college and a daughter 17 yrs younger... Lol.
When I heard of Renee's passing, I was shocked, but then saddened to know that Jacob had lost his momma and would grow up without her, and that Renee's mother would have to bury a child. Renee's memory will live on through her handsome lil' man, her kindness will live on through each of us that were blessed enough to have met her and had her touch or cross our lives.
My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Renee's family.

We little knew that morning
God was to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
