Renee “Nay Nay” Royale DeYoung, 44, of Troutdale, Oregon, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born on August 16, 1974 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Robert S. Jr. and Linda S. (Ponte) DeYoung.
Renee graduated from Reynolds High School in 1992. For several years she worked as a medical office assistant. The last few years of her life she was a stay at home Mom.
Renee enjoyed camping, the beach, and hanging out with friends and family. She was an avid football fan, enjoyed NASCAR, and loved riding quads on the dunes. She especially loved her son Jacob, who was her greatest joy and the light of her life.
Renee was preceded in death by her father, Robert S. DeYoung Jr. She is survived by her son Jacob DeYoung, 5, of Troutdale, Oregon; mother Linda DeYoung, Troutdale, Oregon; sister Devree Leymaster, Corbett, Oregon; nephews Marcus and Ryan Leymaster, Corbett, Oregon; half-brothers Robert, Dennis, and Ritchie DeYoung of Colorado; her Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Larry Turk of Redding, California; cousins Teri Simmons, Redding, California; and Dawn Carpenter, Anderson, California. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will he held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon.
