Richard “Dickie” Thomas Mott, a resident of Gresham, Oregon died on June 1, 2011 in Gresham. He was 48 years of age.
Dickie was born on June 22, 1962 in Portland, Oregon and was the son of Richard and Kathleen (Garnett) Mott. He graduated from Reynolds High School and owned and operated Alpine Drywall for 25 years.
He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Dickie is survived by his daughter, Nichole Sanders of Battleground, Washington, son, Cody Larson of Sioux City, Iowa, mother, Kay Mott of Gresham and sister, Joan Mott Bush of Wenatchee, Washington. His father Richard preceded him in death.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 10:00 am -5:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
