Ronald was born on January 21, 1937 in Hood River, Oregon and he was the son of Red and Hazel (Moore) Fordyce. He grew up in White Salmon, WA where he graduated from High School. He later enlisted in the United States Army honorably serving his country during the Korean Conflict.
Ronald was a heavy equipment operator for Weyrehauser. He operated a CAT, which he loved, a worked clearing tees and pulling logs. He resided in Roseburg and Portland. After retirement he moved to Gresham, OR.
Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and breeding animals. He was a loving caring person.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Jenkins of Portland, son, Bill Fordyce of Ontario and his sister, Sandra Jackson along with 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Ronald will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
