Sarah Dale Youmans, 33 of Gresham OR, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She was born on February 13, 1981 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Cascade High School in Turner, Oregon in 1999 (where she was active in band and soccer) and attended Chemeketa Community College. She loved drawing, music, and writing and (despite the distance) was able to stay in contact with her family. Sarah was a unique individual with her own style and concerned herself with the equal rights of others. Her generosity was extended to many in need which included the homeless.
Sarah is survived by her parents Dale L. and Dale Y. Youmans of Evans CO; fiancé Shane Weller and his parents Mark and Denise Troen all of Gresham OR. She was preceded in death by her sister Rachel Dale Youmans in 2011.
A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
