Sheila Diane Hopman

Sheila was born on February 28, 1948 in Oregon City, Oregon and was the daughter of Frank and Quindle Ann (Redfern) Heinrick. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1966 and on February 7, 1969 she married Pat Kaiser. They had two daughters and were later divorced.

On August 26, 1994, she married Tom Hopman in Reno, Nevada. They resided in East County and Sheila worked as a homemaker caring for her home and family.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling and camping and absolutely loved Disneyland. Her greatest love in life was her family. She simply adored time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was very loving and attentive and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Tom of Portland, daughters, Jennifer Moretty of Japan and Hollie Kaiser of Troutdale, brother, Mike Heinrick of Gresham and sisters, Marsha Hamm of Moses Lake,Jerri Whipple of Portland, Judy Winterbottom of Portland and Jill Porterfield of Prineville along with three grandchildren, Tanner, Talia and Olivia.

A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon. Contributions may be made in memory of Sheila to the American Cancer Society. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
