Stella graduated from Gresham High School in 1943. She was married to Thomas Cunningham for 52 years until his death in 1994.
Stella attended the Pleasant Home Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for 11 years at Mt. Hood Medical Center. Stella enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzle books, hunting, fishing and traveling.
Stella is survived by her son, Mike Cunningham, daughter Carol Cunningham-Bishop, daughter-in-law, Shawna Cunningham, sister, Dora Fisher, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Donations may be given to the Mt. Hood Hospice program.
Funeral service will be on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd. Gresham, OR with a reception to follow and then a committal service following at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
