Stephanie Alyce Horstmann

She was a soul of light whose passions for jewelry making, rock hunting, gemstones, exotic plants, rock climbing and fishing knew no bounds.

She treated everyone she met with joy. She wanted to know all about you. She wanted to help and heal everyone and everything. She faced every trial with determination and strength and never gave up. She accepted everyone’s quirks and problems as her own.

Her only other passion above these were her fiancé, Nick Prante, and his daughter, Isabella. Nick and Steph found each other again after meeting in middle school. Their love, understanding and compassion for each other knew no limits.

Stephanie’s other loves were Steven, her brother, Justine Devore, and her mother and father, Mark and Susan Horstmann along with her cats Dirt Nasty and Tiger.

There are countless friends, relatives and acquaintances too numerous to mention, Eric, Leo, Ethan, Gabe, Kay Kay …. that are grieving as hard as we are.

Stephanie, our hearts may be broken but you will stay with us forever in our hearts. You are free now of pain and we know you are watching over us and continue giving us lessons and signs to carry on—
