

Steven Gay Stump, 76, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, just days before his 77th birthday. He was born on May 17, 1949, and lived a life marked by hard work, dedication to family, and service to his country.
Steven attended Reynolds High School and later continued his education at Oregon Institute of Technology. He proudly served as a Marine Reserve as a welder, carrying the values of discipline, skill, and commitment throughout his life.
Above all else, Steven was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Leah Stump, with whom he shared many years of love and partnership.
He also leaves behind his children, Heather, Lindsey, Andrea, Aaron, and Eric; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy; his sister Sharon; and several beloved nieces and extended family members.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Eleanor Stump.
Steven will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to those he loved, and the many memories he created with family and friends throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue through the generations of family who loved him dearly.
