Terrance L. Henry

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terrance (Terry) Henry, who left us on August 29, 2024. Born in Ontario, OR, to Forrest and Isla Henry, Terry grew up in Portland, OR, where he formed lifelong friendships and created cherished memories.

Terry proudly served his country in the US Army from 1972 to 1978, including a tour in Vietnam. His service was a testament to his dedication and bravery.

On July 4, 1992, Terry married his soulmate, Kathie. Together, they built a loving home and a family filled with joy and laughter. Terry was a kind-hearted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His warmth, generosity, and strength of character touched everyone who knew him.

Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Kathie; his daughters, Shannon and Stephanie; his stepdaughter, Tricia; ten beloved grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry Henry will be deeply missed, but his spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

A committal ceremony and military honors for Terrance will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Willamette National Cemetery Office, 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, OR 97086. Following the committal ceremony and military honors will be a memorial reception at East Portland Moose Lodge, 16411 NE Halsey St., Portland, OR 97230.
