Tim’s sunrise was May 20th 1962, his sunset, May 6th 2011. He was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Tim is survived by his daughter Summer Cochran, grandson Kingston Cochran, mother Judy Worsham, father Donald Robb and older brother Donald Robb. Tim loved all the Pacific NW outdoors had to offer – fishing, swimming, gardening, camping, hiking, and hunting, basically anything that had to do with being outside in the sun and near water – ocean, river, lake or stream. The best place to find him in the summertime was at the Sandy River or at Glenn Otto Park soaking up the sun on his favorite rock or beach blanket surrounded by friends and family.
His mother said he had always been a “water boy” and had given her many special memories. Growing up, he was very active and not one to let the day slowly pass him by, he took each one to the max, enjoying and savoring every moment of his life. Not much had changed since he was a boy – despite life’s challenges he still had a passion for life, love of family and lots of laughter. He turned many frowns into smiles, and tears into laughter, and his was indeed contagious. He loved his family deeply and was a caring, compassionate, and generous man. He willingly offered a helping hand to others to the best of his abilities, often putting others first before himself. He had friends from all walks of life having the personality of a social butterfly – he made new friends daily. He touched many lives and left behind many fond memories in the minds of this family and close friends. He will be terribly missed by them all. TJ was never one to say goodbye, he always said “later”.
