Tina was born on November 24th, 1965 in Eugene, Oregon and is the youngest child to William and Glenda Parmenter. She graduated from Franklin High School and went on to work as a wire investigator for more than 30 years. But Tina was known for more than just her dedication to her career— she is known for her strength, humor, compassion, and adventurous spirit. Tina loved to travel to various places such as Ireland, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Caribbean cruises, as well as to local destinations such as Manzanita, Oregon. Tina was dedicated to training and loving her dogs (Sadie and Gracie), gardening, cooking, artistry, reading, playing progressive rummy and other cherished games, and having—might we say—the most fabulous manicured nails to match the season or occasion.
Tina was lovingly devoted to her friends and family; caring for her siblings and mother through difficult times and cheering on her niece and nephew at various sporting and academic graduations. Tina often reminisced and shared stories of childhood shenanigans and found ways of bringing humor into family gatherings— potentially breaking into song during a card game or creating inside jokes that, frankly, never got old. Tina was a stable, generous, and kind presence for those around her— words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
Tina is preceded in death by her father, William Parmenter. She is survived by her mother, Glenda A. Parmenter; sister, Kimberly R. Parmenter; brother, Kerry G. Parmenter; nephew, Joshua G. Parmenter; niece, Delaney L. Baisden; grandnephew, Tate J. Baisden, and aunts and cousins.
