Wilbur A. Olson, 88, of Damascus, passed away Jan 31, 2015. Wilbur was born Sept 3, 1926 to August and Emma (Staffenson) Olson. He was raised on the family farm along with two older sisters. Wilbur graduated from Gresham High School in 1944. After high school Wilbur devoted his life to the family farm, a devotion that earned him the honor of “Century Farm” in 2006. In 1961, he married Mildred Carlson. They spent 30 wonderful years together until her death in 1992. Wilbur was known within the community for his heart of service; he would always lend a helping hand to those in need. Wilbur enjoyed baseball, antiques and spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; and two sisters Alice and Miriam. Wilbur is survived by his children, Donald(Denise) and Nancy(Kent); and two grandchildren Emma & Trey.
