Just found out about Carey's passing and am so sad.  Last saw him at a concert at First Baptist at Christmas and am so thankful I was able to see him then. Such a talented person and a really great sense of humor!  Will miss him.

Jones family: Judi and I are truly glad to have lived at the right time and place to know Carey. Whenever we encountered him, we knew that 3 things were about to come our way: kindness, his sincere interest in us, and his openness to hear our ideas if a conversation about ideas developed. He gave us a lesson by example about respect and openness towards others. For Carey's example of such important and useful traits, we are truly grateful.

We are praying for the loved ones of Carey Jones in his death. We know the family from our days at First Baptist Church and later Second Baptist Church in Griffin. May you be comforted   knowing that Carey, as a Christ follower, is with the Lord, and he and Christians are having a grand reunion.

David and Dana, I do not have enough words to express my sympathy for you and your family. Your parents, the little I knew them, were very kind people. Obviously they are good parents - just look at the two of you!  I know they are proud.

I was so saddened to hear about your Dad's passing.  Although we have all moved on in different directions in our lives, the FBC Griffin memories will live forever.  I always remember fondly mission trips and seeing your parents in the choir.  Wishing you peace in the days ahead as your mourn you loss.
