Mrs. Alma Alice Craft Cowden

Mrs. Cowden was born February 18, 1918 in Bowdon, GA, daughter of the late Homer Wesley Craft and the late Edna Mae Nolen Craft. She was a member of the former Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dewey Cowden; sisters, Aline Barr, Jenelle Kennedy and Opal Statham and brothers, W.T. Craft and H.W. Craft, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Barry Cowden of Griffin; grandchildren, Wayne Cowden of Monroe, Clay Cowden of Griffin and Jennifer Woodfill of Griffin; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Chambers, Chelsea Chambers, Isaac Murphy, Alysta Woodfill, Taina Cowden, Alice Claire Cowden and Kenna Cowden.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cowden will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Westwood Gardens. Rev. Kevin Lobello will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
