Andy "Bud" Anderson

Mr. Anderson was born March 31, 1936 in Millwood, GA, son of the late Joseph Edward & Iva Lee Smith Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Anderson enjoyed wood working, a “wood craftsman,” attending NASCAR & drag racing and spending time with friends. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Hunt Anderson and brothers, Dewey Anderson and Bobby Anderson.

Survivors include his son, Tony Anderson of Baldwin; daughter & son-in-law, Kelly & Keith Ridgway of Milner; son, Joe Anderson of Fuque Springs, NC; daughter, Cindy Young also of Fuque Springs, NC; grandchildren, Myranda Kruse, Chloe Mosley, Courtney Mosley, Haley, Rebecca, Kimberly Ridgway, Dustin & Destiny Anderson and Erika Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Trenton & Troy Kruse, Matthew Banks, Cooper Mosley; brothers, Jake Anderson of Brunswick and Charles & Nancy Anderson of Carrollton; step-son, Ricky Glenn of Stockbridge and step-daughter, Sharon & Wayne Moss of Stockbridge.

A memorial service for Mr. Andy “Bud” Anderson will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Jake Anderson will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
