Mrs. Betty Jo Brinkley Underwood

Mrs. Underwood was born April 22, 1927 in Benton, KY daughter of the late Doc Eugene Brinkley and the late Mattie Viola Hill Brinkley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Quinton Underwood.

Survivors include children, Larry & JoAnn Underwood of Alpharetta, Gary & Abby Underwood of Griffin and Melinda & Jeff Long of Griffin; grandchildren, Jennifer Warren, Natalie Lanzaron, Jason Long and Travis Underwood; great-grandchildren, Christian & Preston Lanzaron, JayLynn Long, Adam Warren & Meghan Warren and sisters, Jane Schnabel and Hilda Chambers. Nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Underwood will be held Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Westwood Gardens. Rev. Jack Landham will officiate.
