
Mrs. Jimmerson was born in Coweta County on July 20, 1914 to the late Woodie Rolan Quick and the late Ellen Verdie Henderson Quick. She was retired from United Cotton Goods. She was the oldest living member of Living Waters Congregational Holiness Church in Griffin and also attended Carver Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed her “Fellowship Class” at Reflections Adult Day Care for many years. Mrs. Jimmerson was loved and cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two (2) sons, William (Billy) Jimmerson; Ferol Jimmerson and wife, Sara; her daughter Faye Jimmerson Ballard Bunn and husband Sam six (6) Grandchildren, Greg Ballard and wife, Darleen; Anita Ballard Zahn and husband, Paul; Cindy Ballard Deason; Vicky Jimmerson Skelton and husband, Allen; Starlett Jimmerson Ellis and husband, Monty; and Abby Jimmerson Sharp and husband, Zack; seventeen (17) Great Grandchildren Mandi Zahn McGhin and husband, Lyle; Jared Zahn, Ben Zahn (Amy), Jana Zahn, Turner Zahn, Nate Zahn, Daniel Zahn, Levi Zahn, Garret Deason; Abigail Deason; Starla Skelton; Bethany Skelton; Ryan Skelton; Carli Ellis, Kelli Ellis; Calla Sharp and Langston Sharp; and five (5) Great Great Grandchildren Koral Hafza; Juse McGhin; Nora McGhin, Cayda Zahn and Ezra Zahn and sister, Vivian Quick Collins and husband, Henry.
Mrs. Jimmerson was preceeded in death by 8 siblings; Bessie Quick, Eunice Quick, Ruby Quick, Hugh Quick, Woodie Martin Quick, Doyle Quick, Lanier Quick, Leon Quick and daughter-in-law Betty Austin Jimmerson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Jimmerson will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family, Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
