Mr. Darrell Wallace

Darrell was born November 3, 1950 in Cheraw, SC. He was the son of William Boyd and Grace Collins Wallace. He attended Cheraw public schools and later attended Griffin Technical Institute. He worked in the textile printing industry for over 30 years serving in various management positions with several companies, including Raytex in Marion, SC and

Carter’s Textiles in Barnesville. Darrell recently retired from Advance Electrical & Industrial of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his father, infant daughter, Terrie Lynn Wallace and infant son, Timothy Chad Wallace.

Survivors include sons, Tracy Darrell (Robin) Wallace of Griffin and Jason Troy (Maria) Wallace of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Jacob and Rachel Wallace of Griffin and Troy Wallace of Conway, SC; mother, Grace Wallace of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Sue (Billy) Driggers of Effingham, SC and Jeanette (Andy) Linton of Cheraw, SC; brothers, Rev. Dennis (Gennie) Wallace of Irmo/Cheraw, SC and Rev. Donald (Mary) Wallace of Wadesboro, NC.

Darrell was loved and cherished by his family and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Mr. Darrell Wallace will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home in Chesterfield, SC. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, c/o Arlene Hancock, 1680 Sam Jones Rd., Patrick, SC 29584 in memory of Darrell.
