Donald Cleveland Major

Mr. Major was born November 16, 1932. He was a loving and kind person who was always giving to people and never met a stranger. Mr. Major was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Ann Brown Major; parents, Frances Jenkins & Gladys Lucille Strickland Major and sister, Betty Carolyn Gerringer.

Survivors include daughters, Tammie Lynn Brazil, Alicia Faye Giannasca and Faith Major Gresham; sons, Lonnie Cleveland Major, Victor Kevin Major and Donald Allan Major; sisters, Frances Lucille Young and Laura Ann Fisher and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Cleveland Major will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
