Mrs. Cooper was born in Athens, Ga on April 15, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Anthony. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cooper and son, Terry Wells.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn Reynolds, Robert Wells, Steve Wells, Dan Wells and Billie Chambers. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Inez Cooper will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday form 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
