Mr. Eddie Roy Elder

Mr. Eddie Roy Elder of Hampton born May 2, 1957 in Coweta County to the late Mr. Eddie T. Elder and the late Catherine (Stargell) Elder departed this life Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Mrs. Martha (Frank) Williams of Hampton, Mr. Willie (Louella) Elder of Griffin, Mr. Leonard H. (Elnora) Elder of Lithonia, Mr. Joseph L. (LaConya) Elder of Rex and Min. Johnny C. (Gladys) Elder of Luthersville; 2 uncles: Mr. Grady Elder of Dayton, OH and Willie C. Stargell of Sharpsburg; 5 aunts: Mrs. Gladys Elder Johnson of Newnan, Mrs. Mary and Joanne Elder both of Datyton, OH, Mrs. Lena M. Byrd of Ellenwood and Sarah Brassell of Senoia. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Roy Elder will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Darius T. Elder officiating with Minister Johnny C. Elder as Eulogist. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
