Eddie Rogers

Mr. Eddie Rogers, age 60 of Griffin, GA, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. He was born on September 11, 1956 in Atlanta, GA to Charles and Frances Lindsey. Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his father, Charles Lindsey. Survivors include his wife, Dora Rogers of Griffin; sons and daughters-in-law, Wes and Heather Rogers, Les and Elizabeth Rogers, Ash and Jill Rogers, all of Griffin; grandchildren, Hunter Kenway, Austin Rogers, Angel Rogers, Katelynn Rogers, Jordan Rogers, Dalton Rogers, Cole Rogers; mother, Frances Lindsey of Griffin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Perry Edwards of Milner, Sue Smith of Griffin, Laverne and Eric Mays of Griffin; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rogers was a member of Union Baptist Church in Griffin, GA. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren fishing and shooting guns. Eddie also enjoyed the company of his beloved dog Shelly. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Sunday December 18, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
