Flora Lillian Fortson Golden

Flora Lillian Golden was the 2nd of three children born to Albert & Lillian Fortson in Atlanta GA. Her sister Joann and brother, Albert and her 3 children Hiram, Herman & Anthony Daniels preceeded her in death.

Flora attended Turner High School, Atlanta, GA.

She received her GED attending night school. She graduated from nursing Atlanta. Flora married Riley Golden Jr. April 19, 1963. Flora and Riley had 4 children Felecia, Maury, Riley & Dexter.

Flora was a devote Christian who loved the lord with all her heart. She was a dedicated wife and mother and took pride in keeping her children and home spotless. She was an excellent cook and awesome baker and love to garden. Flora stayed active all her life she worked out, loved to dance and to cook for the family.

Flora is survived by her children Felecia Jones (Anthony Jones), Riley Golden III (Reaver Golden), Maury Golden (Traveaka Banks), Dexter Golden (Linda Golden); grandchildren Chimere Vann, Paul Davis, Maury Golden Jr., Chiquita Snipes, Cori Davis, Kyle Lamont, Tiffany Golden, Robyn Golden, Riley Golden IV, Violette Golden, Destiny Golden, Brianna McGowan and Amourie Golden. Great grandchildren: Endia, Nivea, Sariah, Nalani, Jayden and London and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
