

Mr. Peaden was born August 15, 1938 in Barnesville, Georgia, to the late Paul Peaden and the late Emma Gussie Collins Peaden. He grew up in Thomaston, Georgia. He was a lifelong salesman and self-employed businessman. He was a member of the Griffin First United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed working in his yard and taking leisurely drives through the countryside. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Peaden and sister, Gaynelle Sweatman.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Loosier Peaden of Griffin; sons & daughters-in-law, Harry, Jr. & Cindy Peaden of Peachtree City, Mike & Pam Peaden of Fayetteville, Rett & Vivien Peaden of Dunwoody; daughter & son-in-law, Dianne & Dean Dorminey of Senoia; brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Patricia Peaden of Griffin; sister, Paulette Durden of McDonough; grandchildren, Harry III, Nancy, Taylor, Johnny, Michael Paul, Lindsey, Robert, Niko, Brandon, Amber, Blake & Gracie Peaden, Michael Dean Dorminey & Melissa Chambers; great-grandchildren, Sara Peaden and James & Jaycie Chambers.
Funeral services for Mr. Harry E. Peaden, Sr. will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with military honors to follow. Rev. Roger Powell will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
