Helen Meeker

Mrs. Meeker was born in New York City, NY on June 27, 1923, daughter of the late Emilio & Juana Rivera Diaz. She was a compassionate person who never met a stranger and was always life of the party. Mrs. Meeker enjoyed cooking, travelling, dancing and being with her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Sullivan Meeker, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, George & Sherrill Meeker of Griffin; granddaughter, Lisa Ortuno of Wake Forrest, N.C.; grandson, Jason Meeker of Griffin; great-grandchildren, Ben Davis, Joseph Davis, Zoe Ortuno and Gavin Meeker and niece, Carol Ann Bedicheck of Evans, GA. Several other nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held at the chapel of Brightmoor Nursing Center in Griffin, GA on July 11th at 4:00.
