Mrs. Helen Ruth Johnson Morris

Mrs. Morris was born on November 11, 1922 in Griffin. She was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Morris; grandson, Brian Lee Morris, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Harold “Bill”and Becky Morris, Peggy and Gordon Shaw, Rhonda and Bill Sandoval, Donna and Lynn Buffington; grandchildren, Helena Carden, Kristin Carden, Kathryn Buffington, Amy Parsons, Brian Buffington, Gordon Shaw Jr., Morgan Shaw, Joy Meyer, Elizabeth Morris; sister, Sarah Brown, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Helen Ruth Johnson Morris will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 3:00PM in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 2:00PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
