We at the Nashville Police Department, Georgia never met Kevin; but we knew him.  We knew him because he was our brother.  He was our brother because all law enforcement officers are bonded by who and what we represent every time we put that badge on our body for all to see.  And when a brother officer falls in the line of duty a piece of every officer falls with him.  There is nothing that we can say or do to take away the pain your feel, but we hope you can take comfort in knowing that you do not grieve alone.
